Head Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator

Community Christian College, Texas Spartans | Round Rock, TX

2026

  • Built the football program from the ground up as a first year operation: season planning, practice structure, game management, recruiting, travel, staffing and culture standards.
  • Grew the roster from 40 to 85 student athletes over two seasons and signed 45 athletes in the first recruiting class through a structured recruiting and communication process.
  • Coordinated a 4-2-5 defense that finished Top 10 among independent JUCOs, holding opponents to 24 points per game with 10 forced turnovers.
  • Grew the coaching staff from 6 to 15 while establishing role clarity, weekly accountability and performance expectations.
  • Held the team to a 3.1 GPA average through academic accountability systems, study structures, progress monitoring and coordination with academic support partners.
  • Managed budgets, vendors, travel and program resources, contributing more than $1 million in annual school revenue.
  • Created fundraising initiatives that raised more than $50,000 during the 2026 season.

Defensive Coordinator | Assistant Head Coach

Community Christian College, Texas Spartans | Round Rock, TX

2025

  • Built the program staff from 0 to 6 as Assistant Head Coach, owning hiring, role definition and onboarding.
  • Designed and taught defensive terminology, fronts, coverages, pressures, weekly game plans and situational adjustments.
  • Directed defensive meetings and practice periods, called plays on game day, and used film analysis to make corrections and reinforce assignment discipline.
  • Mentored position coaches and supported student athlete evaluation, roster management and recruiting coordination.
  • Created the recruiting and planning strategy that brought in 50 students in the first incoming class.
  • Helped expand program resources from approximately $100,000 to $250,000 through planning, recruiting growth and fundraising.
